Tough Choices For The Future

The Highway 23 bridge across the Sauk River in Cold Spring will soon be nothing but a memory. Its contribution over the years is a history book unto itself. Should this bridge have been saved or moved to another location as a part of Cold Spring's heritage? Or was it just a piece of old metal slowly disintegrating into rust and broken beams?

This is an example of a difficult decision that was made in our community. The question is, how many people actually had a chance to have their voice heard? The four lane highway is changing the face of Cold Spring. What other changes can we expect in the weeks, months and years ahead and who will make those decisions?

The Cold Spring 20/20 Vision Team was formed to follow a proven method of leader training and community interaction to help build a shared vision for Cold Spring's future. A vision that you can choose to be a part of.

This week on April 15th, a group of 20 Vision Team members will travel to Little Falls to learn about Effective Community Team Building. They will explore the topics of effective communication, group techniques and conflict management skills.
